Tuesday 1 Jul 14: Slepe Hall Hotel in St Ives (www.slepehallhotel.co.uk). I’ve been a regular over the years but under its last owners it went really downhill but now it’s been smartened up again and they’ve got rid of the dreadful American themed bar.It’s been a beautiful day and I enjoyed an excellent crayfish, smoked salmon and avocado salad for lunch.
