Sunday 24 Aug 14: harvest time. It doesn’t seem to have been a great summer and we’ve had lots of rain in August but it still seems that the local farmers have had a decent harvest and been able to get it in. We’re fortunate in H&I that we’re surrounded by green belt (plus a bit of the A14) and the local farmers keep it in good shape for us. There are plenty of footpaths so it’s not like we’re trapped within it!
