Sat 24 Jan 15: Signs for shops in Green Street, Cambridge. There’s a bunch of good outlets down Green Street, although sadly there’s no longer a Jessop’s, and I guess many shoppers simply stay on Sydney Street unless they’ve got a reason to visit them. Way back in time I remember there was a pub called the Volunteer in Green Street which did good pie and chips. It’s not there anymore.
