Sun 26 Apr 15: one of the many fine thatched houses in Histon. Not so many in Impington but then that’s a younger community. Note the thatched peacock on the roof left of the chimney. Other thatches in Histon have a monkey and a duck. Are these the signature of the thatcher or do they have some other significance?
