Sun 10 May 15: this is a sad memory in Histon. Romano Dias ran the Indian on this site for many years and could never get permission to develop it. In an unrelated event he died a couple of years ago after innocently drinking something really nasty. I liked Romano. He was a larger than life character and did his best to develop a business and was very frustrated that he wasn’t allowed to do so.
