Sun 15 May 16: every picture tells a story but this one needs a little more explanation. There were just 2 Gregarios at the Histon & Impington Bicycle Club this morning so we agreed to join the Intermediate group. All went just fine with a pace a little over 30kph until kilometre 23 when I took a fall. My fault. I touched the wheel of the bike in front of me and the I lost control. It was scary at the time but there doesn’t seem to have been any serious damage and hardly a scratch to the bike. My helmet did it’s job though and I’ll need to buy a new one. My fellow Gregario and I returned by a shortened route with one other rider who led us at more of a Gregario-like pace (25/26 kph).
