Sat 4 Jun 16: Mrs J always makes sure there’s plenty of flowers in the house and at this time of year its peonies and that generally also means lots of petals. They started splendidly as a tight bloom but then open and for a day or two they look like this before they shed their petals which in itself is a tad dramatic.
