Sat 1 Oct 16: rather sad story. I’ve had this bottle @chateaumusar for some time. I’d checked that it was still good to drink and was planning to share it with my son-in-law at Xmas. But it started to leak. No idea why so I reckoned if it was going to be still drinkable I should open it straight away. So I did and it was. I’m not sure it was as good as the tasting notes on the website and it certainly went off quickly once the bottle was open but to my reasonably unsophisticated nose etc it was just fine.
