Sat 18 Feb 17: here’s a boring photo but it makes a point. These are speed bumps. I don’t like them in general because I don’t think they work. Is there any evidence? But sometimes we forget that they impact others, not just the motorist. If you’re unfortunate to live close to them you can say goodbye to any peace and quiet. So next time the council considers such an installation it should think about its wider impact before going ahead.
