Sat 11 Mar 17: it’s a pity this is a bit blurred … it’s a plaque in Trumpington village hall listing local people who’d been involved in the 1914-18 war. I was struck by the total absence of the names Jones, Williams, Evans and Hughes which would have featured large in similar plaques where I grew up.
