Wed 13 Sep 17: the runway at Alconbury whence the US air force flew some fairly dodgy missions during the cold war and thereafter. It’s soon to be a 5000 house development. Work on phase 1 (1400 houses) is already well advanced. Nice houses but it’s just a big housing estate.
