Thu 18 Jul 19: that’s me in the middle with the ever-protesting Huw Jones on the left and the tireless campaigner Ros Hathorn on the right. I was surprised that two important issues, climate emergency and Station Road school time traffic, were being mixed up. I don’t think that was to the advantage of either.
However I especially liked the use of an existing poster which advertised gin and Pimms at the Portland arms on the other side. I guess that sums up Histon & Impington: we’ll protest as long as we have enough gin and Pimms!
