Bonfire night’s not what it used to be

Sat 2 Nov 19: for a start it’s not on the right day! But I remember the time when just about every house with children had it’s own fireworks. Mind you they weren’t as big and dramatic as you get these days but they did include Catherine Wheels, which generally didn’t turn, jacky-jumpers and penny bangers.
