Not noticed this before: Sid Bishop’s birdbath

Tue 30 Jun 20: Sid Bishop founded the two local businesses which took his name: the cycle shop on Station Road and the hardware store by the Station itself. He was also a chair of the parish council and, it seems, a keen cyclist. The birdbath is close to the peace memorial hence its decoration of poppies
