Tue 19 Apr 21: this is from 2013 and I was canvassing in Spring Close. This is Sqn Ldr David Butler DFC who sadly died last year. He told me he flew in Lancasters during the year and I’m not sure if he wasn’t a rear gunner. Pretty impressive because those guys didn’t have a great survival rate.
