Not exactly the London Eye

Thu 1 Jul 21: it’s the time of the year for village fetes, fairs and feasts. Covid has impacted a lot of course and much of Histon’s Feast has been cancelled but the funfair’s here. Daytime it’s quiet of course but it still didn’t seem to project the excitement on offer. Most of the rides seemed best for younger children, which is fine, but it’s good to see the waltzer in evidence.
