Memories of my last vacation @bintangbir

Fri 2 Jul 21: we wouldn’t have imagined it at the time but over Xmas/New Year 2019/20 we were in Indonesia and it was our last holiday. I drank a fair amount of Bintang and I approached this one with some trepidation. Although it describes itself as a pilsner I’ve never felt is sparkles as such and I worried that it wouldn’t stand up to comparison to the other excellent beers I’ve been drinking on Fridays. But it wasn’t bad. It was cold of course and I drank it from a decent glass, maybe that made the difference.
