Is this a little over-packed?

Mon 26 Jul 21: I ordered a spare battery for my DSLR which necessitated a second mortage. I guess that’s why it was deemed to deserve so much packaging. It was surrounded by so many air cushion bags you’d be foregiven for thinking it could have flown here under its own steam.
