Thu 29 Jul 21: … isn’t the ending just a little too convenient? I know it delivers the right result when all other avenues for the defence seemed to be going pear-shaped but it does read a bit like ‘ oh shit this is all going wrong what new factor can I bring in to tie this up neatly and quickly?’
