Autumn greens and browns

Sat 16 Oct 21: it’s that time of year. The evergreens are still green, most of the flowers have gone but the berries are starting to show. And of course a lot of the plants which simply die back are doing just that: dying back. This gives us the soft skeletal browns as in today’s photo.
