Wed 20 Oct 21: it’s that time of year again with stores bigging up Halloween as a means of making us spend more than we really want or need to. It’s really just a recent (20 years or so?) phenomenon, I don’t remember it being a big deal when I was a child. Now kids want to engage in ‘trick or treat’, parents have to shepherd the around in the dark and residents like us put up signs saying ‘no thank you’. This is/was number 1 granddaughter Amelia in her Halloween costume.
