Not a bad yarn @simonscarrow

Sat 30 Oct 21: one of a coincidence of three items relating to anti-Semitism in the last century: Paris Police 1900 from Canal Plus via BBC4, this book and Ridley Road on BBC1 relating to France early in the 1900s, Germany around 1940 and the UK in the early 60s respectively. This book is an easy read but nonetheless introduces the horror of the Nazi party and its influence on all aspects of life. ooks have to have some form of easy ending but this one suffers from the surprising blunder made by central character Horst Schenke in jumping to a wrong conclusion and thereby forcing him to be party to a final cover-up conspiracy.
