Thu 4 Nov 21: we’re approaching Remembrance Sunday so the poppy sellers are abroad and the poppy police are noting who’s wearing one and who’s not. The Methodist Church in Histon has this fine display and it’s good to see that it includes white poppies. There are also purple poppies (to remember animals) but no black ones (to specifically remember the lives of non-white combatants).
