Sat 12 Feb 22: the Swiss have frequent referenda and on Sunday they’ll vote on whether or not to restrict tobacco advertising, long after that’s been done elsewhere in Europe. The tobacco industry provided funding for the ‘no’ campaign (surprise) but the vote was nonetheless passed with 56% in favour.
