On this day … in 2008

Wed 9 Mar 22: … was a time when I attended Lib Dem conferences and rubbed shoulders with the great and the good. This is the Spring Conference in 2008 and took place in Liverpool. I remember this was a Welsh Lib Dem peer and it looks, from the web-site today, like it was probably Lord Roberts of Llandudno. As a peer he would be regarded as one of the great and given that he was also a Methodist minister I’d imagine that he would have been one of the good as well.
