Not the world’s most exciting bridge

Sat 12 Mar 22: but a slightly interesting photographic story nonetheless. It’s the bridge over the brook that connects Histon to Westwick just as you get into open country as you walk from Histon. It was a pretty miserable day for photography but I thought the lead in to the bridge might be an interesting shot in portrait mode. It wasn’t but landscape is much more interesting especially when I crop it down to what I’d call a ‘horizontal’ crop. I’ve added some grit to the bridge and brought out a little detail in the water in Lightroom. Pity the shot wasn’t portrait in the first place because a little more of the path on the left would have added a nice flow through the shot.
