Mon 8 Sep 14: Ely bypass planning meeting. We were worried that there would be too many public speakers and that the proceedings might get a bit fraught. And the BBC were expected to film the proceedings. It was no on both counts and the end result, unanimous support for the proposed bypass, was reached after some excellent debate with good arguments being given for and against.
