Fri 18 Dec 20: the least you can do in these Covid days is to let your palate travel a little so this week’s beer took me to Los Angeles via Suffolk. Website tells me it’s a steam beer and was originally brewed in California by German immigrants using ale yeast to try and reproduce lager. All I can say is it’s a tad gassy but nonetheless pleasantly drinkable.
