Thu 31 Dec 20: … but maybe it’s a fitting close to the year. The fireworks were in a neighbour’s garden and there were none of the classic high altitude rockets so the trees got in the way and the action was all in the smoke zone. However I took a few photos on long exposure controlling my camera from my phone and came up with a series of shots which were more Dante’s Inferno than New Year’s Eve. With Covid still rampant and the dreadful national harm of Brexit now upon us that seems apt.
