Fri 29 Jan 21: it calls itself an amber lager and it’s definitely not a pilsner. Google et al tell me that ‘amber lagers are medium-bodied lagers with a toasty or caramel-like malt character. Hop bitterness can range from very low to medium-high. Brewers may use decoction mash and dry-hopping to achieve advanced flavours’. I’d say there’s a touch of the pale ale about them. Good enough to drink though.
